In May of 2016 I was fortunate enough to be invited to take an art camp trip to Yellowstone National Park with Light Grey Art Lab. Light Grey is an amazing group of, super talented folks from Minneapolis, MN. They put on some fantastic residencies and camps every year. When I saw they were going to Yellowstone I had to go! I met so many great artists and did allot of sketching, but the view was so incredible, it was hard to put my camera down. Here are a few of my favorite photos from out trip. THE CARVING TREESOn our first day we came across this little grove of birch trees. Although I would never carve my own name, I found it fascinating to see all these human marks superimposed on the lush green backdrop. PANARAMAS   OLD FAITHFULOf course we had to see the famous geyser that started it all. Old Faithful was definitely cool, but there was this adorable old couple taking selfies and celebrating their wedding anniversary that stole the show for me.
